Saying he is not coming to Paris, that a letter will very soon be published in M. [Emile de?] Girardin's Liberté, mentioning what happened with Tannhäuser, saying he would prefer that Pasdeloup come with his stage manager to see Wagner for a day, that he would like to see the stage and costume designs [for Rienzi], adding that it would be "moins pénible" for them to come to Lucerne, perhaps, than for him to go to Paris.
